James is such a frank book that gives a sobering view of life. James 4:14 says "Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes."
This is sobering for me as well in view of how I have wasted time in the past. So below, are the top 5 complete wastes of time.
1. Farmv
illeHours of time have I and others spent of building a virtual farm to gain coins and prestige. Completely addicting and yet a complete waste of time. For novice users, it can be 20 minutes a day. For level 25 and up users, one can spend several hours a week, that you will never get back.
At one time I enjoyed the benefit of unlimited movies to watch at anytime. I had my "que" set up with roughly 30 movies that I had and the movies continued to come. Also there was the easy access of of the instant movies on the netflix website. The addiction is that you never catch up to the "que." It's a constant cycle of updating and watching movies. It's such an easy accessible waste of time that one month I watched 16 movies. That's 32 hours of life I will never get back. Needless to say I cancelled the subscription.
3. Facebook

Great for connecting with friends, but a complete waste of time to spend hours a day on this site.
4. Day After Tomorrow
-I'll never get these 2 hours back or the $10.25 I spent to watched this movie. Huge waste of time.
5. Bejeweled -

This game has quickly become one of the most popular games on the web. It is the second most popular on facebook and has millions of people wasting their day on this popular site. Thankfully I have not spent time here, but know that many have a appetite for this easily addictive game.
